From April 2 to 28, 2025, 30 students from the School of Science, Walailak University (Thailand), participated in a credit exchange program at the School of Education, Can Tho University, under the framework of a bilateral cooperation agreement between the two institutions. This activity is part of Can Tho University’s international academic credit exchange program, contributing to internationalizing education, promoting cultural exchange, and providing students from both countries with opportunities to learn and develop skills in a multicultural environment.

During the credit exchange period, 30 students from Thailand enrolled in seven specialized education modules in Information Technology, Mathematics, Biology, and Natural Sciences. These courses enhanced their academic knowledge and equipped them with practical, research, and critical thinking skills in educational disciplines. In addition, the students actively engaged in hands-on activities, self-study, and group work with Can Tho University students. These experiences helped foster academic interaction, teamwork abilities, and English communication skills in an international learning environment.

Can Tho University continues to strengthen its international training collaborations by developing academic programs conducted in English, promoting academic exchanges, and partnering with prestigious institutions worldwide in both training and research. These initiatives serve as a foundation for students to successfully integrate into global education systems while enhancing Can Tho University’s regional and international reputation.
