Why studying in School of education?
- Comprehensive Learning Resources: Students have access to extensive learning materials from both the Can Tho University Learning Resource Center (CTU LRC) and the SoE Library. These resources support a well-rounded education and provide students with the materials they need for in-depth study and research.
- Practical Experience: The SoE program includes practicum opportunities in high schools throughout the Mekong Delta provinces. These hands-on teaching experiences allow students to apply their theoretical knowledge in real-world educational settings, enhancing their teaching skills and preparing them for future careers.
- National and International Academic Exchanges: Students have the chance to participate in academic exchange programs at both the national and international levels. These exchanges promote cultural understanding, broaden perspectives, and provide opportunities for collaborative research with peers from other institutions.
- Financial Support and Scholarships: SoE offers various forms of financial support, including scholarships and tuition waivers. Students may also be eligible for a monthly government scholarship, which helps alleviate financial burdens and allows them to focus on their studies.
- Affordable Accommodation: Students are provided with affordable and convenient on-campus housing in CTU’s dormitories, allowing them to be part of a vibrant academic community and access university resources easily.
The academic year is divided into three semesters:
- First Semester: September to December
- Second Semester: January to April
- Third Semester: May to August
To apply to the School of Education program, candidates should submit their application forms along with their national high school graduation exam results, as administered by the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET), or their high school academic records to the Department of Academic Affairs.
